Now, moving to types of Questions:

      1)  Sum of numeric value of alphabets:
ANT: 35 :: YOU:?
a)    55   b) 61   c) 76   d) 44

Answer is 61 as 25+15+21=61

2) Opposite Sequence:
    BYEV: GTJQ :: MNPK:?
a) TGWD   b) RIUF   c) TGUF   d) WDXC

Answer is b) i.e. RIUF. Looking at the table we see opposite to B is Y and E is V and the difference in them is 3 then moving to +2 i.e. after E moving to G opposite is T and J is Q.

So, in similar way opposite to M is N, opposite to P is K then after +2, Opposite to R is I and U is F.

So, 2 sequences go side by side....opposite and the additions of number. Such question can be easily solve by using the table as it give quick visible solution and you catch the trick as it is.

3) Codes: These can be in many ways......sometime questions are very easy, codes are simply reversible order...or big words are broken up and then reverse in parts, sometime these are difficult.

for difficult question the above table will help as it will assist in cracking the code.
e.g.  In a certain language PROSE is coded as PPOQE, how the LIGHT will be coded??
a) LGGFT    b) LGGHT    c) LFHT    d) GHFT

We see that alphabets as odd places are written as it is, so, First check this thing in answers and you will eliminate option c and d easily. Now, We see that alphabets at even places have been move back to -2 position as R is 18 and P is 16, S is 19 and Q is 17.

So, I should be G and H should be F. So, Answer must be LGGFT i.e. option a).

So, to save time, you should check codes (one by one in all option, if more than two codes are there) and use elimination method.
